The King Charles Hotel is a boutique residence located in an historic building in Prague city centre, 300 metres from Vysehrad Castle and its gardens. This six storey hotel has 25 guestrooms, all of which feature traditional decor, mahogany furnishings and parquet floors. All rooms include CD players, pay movies, DVD players and Internet access.
King Charles Restaurant offers traditional Czech dishes and 20 varieties of Czech beer served in a marble setting with antique furnishings and an attractive fireplace. Multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can book tours or restaurants around Prague and business guests can hold seminars or meetings in the conference room, also available for banquets and social functions. A television can be found in the lobby and there is a video library. Free parking is provided nearby. The Vltava River, the National Theatre and Charles Square are all within a kilometre of the residence. Prague Ruzyne Airport (PRG) is 20 minutes by car, 12 kilometres (seven miles) from the hotel.

Registered taxis are available from a stand located in front of the Arrivals hall. Minibus stands are also located in front of the Arrivals hall. Bus service 119 runs from the airport to Dejvick�, which is the nearest metro station to the airport, located at the end of line A; journey time is about 20 30 minutes. On the metro one can connect to Vysehrad Station, 800 metres from the hotel.
Prague's compact historic centre is best explored on foot. Cheap public transportation is available in the shape of metro, bus, tram or the funicular railway. You can get tickets, directions, schedules and multi lingual public transport system maps at information offices located in five major metro stations, including Muzeum and Mustek. A ticket (j�zdenka) can be used interchangeably on all forms of transport.
